World Teacher’s Day Pens

There are a lot of things that happens to me every October 5^th. You see, I’m a teacher and that date is World Teacher’s Day. I’ve been teaching in this school for quite some time now. But every year, the October 5^th celebration is always different.

Last year, my students did something I could never have imagined. I told them about Teacher’s day, and that if they wanted to give something to their teachers, they better not spend a single penny on it. I expected something price-less, like a drawing or a picture. I was very wrong because my students gave me something (or a lot of things) that I never imagined.

All of them gave me branded logo promotional pens. I told them that they should not have spent on the gifts. At first I was mad, but all my emotions went down when one of them said that they did not spend anything and they just got it from their own houses.

I was so proud by what my students did for me that I rushed to the faculty lounge after the class. When I got there, people were giving each other branded logo promotional ballpoint pens. Shock was an understatement. I turned around and never looked back.

As if fate really made fun of me that day, my son gave me branded logo promotional high tech pens the same night when I got home. I told my husband the things that happened that day. I thought he would be really surprised of the great coincidence that occurred, but instead, he laughed until he fell asleep. That was a good way to end the day.
